Wow! Good crowd, good entertainment, and three badly needed points! That final play seemed to go on for ever, as the visitors tried to secure a last-gasp draw, but in the end we held out, and I reckon the six point margin was just about fair over the whole 80. Lee Briers showed one or two nice touches, and his "inter" was a bit special, but Richie Hawkyard at last line was faultless throughout, and m-o-m by a street in my opinion, but.............. It was good team performance that won us the game, and I heard not a single moan…
